Marcia Gin Bar
The owner and creator of Marcia Bar & Gin required a brand identity for a new gin bar located in Melbourne, VIC and packaging for a line of boutique gin. The bar and brand was named after his grandmother, Marcia, who was the original owner of a family citrus orchard located in the Murray River region. Each boutique gin on offer was created using produce from the orchard and is served at Marcia Gin Bar.

The brand logotype was developed first to express a distinct blend of classic nostalgia and modernity - sharp angles contrasting with flowing curves aimed at creating an interesting twist on a classic serif typeface. The brand colour palette chosen to reflect fresh, crisp citrus while being balanced with a soft lavender. The additional brand pattern is a simplified representation of the Murray River region and features a similar combination of curves and sharp lines that reflect the brand logotype.
